Dartwood were approached to assist our client in gaining planning permission for change of use for a striking commercial property in the heart of Halifax town centre. Listed building consent was also required for this project. Dartwood produced plans to maximise the available space within the building to form two apartments, which will breathe life into the derelict upper floors of this historic building. After planning permission was awarded in June 2020, we went on to produce plans for the building regulations submission to enable the works to be carried out in accordance with UK building legislation.
